The Most Fashionable Colours for 2016

With the release of PANTONE's Spring 2016 Fashion Colour Report, we are introduced to the colours that we'll be seeing more of in the styles that will grace runways and the streets alike.

The buzz phrases for this year's colours are "vibrant optimism and excitement, transcending gender and cultural norms", tempered by "a quiet, calming stability from tranquility and mindfulness".

To further elaborate on this year's motivation, Leatrice Eiseman (Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute) tells us in the report, "Colors this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves. With our culture still surrounded by so much uncertainty, we are continuing to yearn for those softer shades that offer a sense of calm and relaxation."
